Semper Opera House Interior's by siffer

Dresden - Germany, Sachsen The lavish staircases and hallways surrounding the auditorium feature brightly painted mythologic scenes set against a luxe gold and white decor. Large marble Corinthian columns line the hallways and staircases, all lit by ceiling and wall mounted ornate chandeliers. Splashes of color are added by red velvet accents on the walls and on the hallway benches. Beautiful. This image is of the ceiling shot through the center of a staircase. The better picture sadly has insufficient pixels.
