Emerald Pool, above Vernal Falls's by eirekay

Yosemite National Park - United States, California Along the Mist Trail, just above Vernal Falls, is Emerald Pool. The Pool has a strong current from most of the summer, as snow from the higher elevations melts. By August it is swimable but prior to that you risk being swept over the near by falls to certain death!
