No doubt many, like me, have passed htrough the station of El Chorro en route for almost all points north from Malaga and admired the deep gorge and the Camin(it)o del Rey, a formidable walkway through it.
Whereas I still feel this is possibly the best way of seeing it first, I very much enjoyed spending some hours there.
As well as its natural beauties there is a good restaurant near the station with magnificent views from its terrace.
On the photo the green fences show the railway and the Caminito del Rey is the dark green (almost horizontal) line.
